My Hanoi is drinking coffee. I have only been in Hanoi for a few days but a great place to chill out and try and drown out the constant horn honking is at Cafe Hanh (51 Nguyen Huu Huan) with a \”Ca Phe Sua Da\” – a glass of black, rocket-fuel strength Vietnamese coffee with a shot of condensed milk, all on the rocks. Very, very addictive and a bargain at 15,000 dong (about 50 pence / 75 US cents). Plonk down on one of the small stools and watch the world go by, while listening to the birds tweet in the cages hung under the awning.
